This is a short meeting, less than 2 hours, where the following is done:

1. Sign up for the next step (County Convention)

2. Sign up for extra involvement (all optional)

   1. Platform Committee

   2. Rules Committee

   3. Donations

3. Vote on any Platform or Rules changes proposed in your Precinct

   1. Highly recommended that you type up and submit in writing!

   2. These get sent to the appropriate committee at the county level for consideration

   3. They may be combined or re-written on that committee

   4. They may or may not be considered by the County Convention

   5. You may offer them from the floor at the County Convention if they fail to make it through the committee that reviews the item

Any registered Republican who lives in the precinct holding the meeting.

This is the smallest official unit of the Republican Party - the non-party purpose of this group is to help organize and elect people to office by knocking doors, putting out signs, registering voters, 'GOTV' or Get Out The Vote, and other electoral activities.
